For the last 15 years, Tower Ministry Finance president Jonathan Ankney has been working with churches, ministries, and small businesses in a variety of financial management functions. Whether by consulting or by working "in the trenches" with clergy, executive directors, or business owners, he uses the variety of skills and techniques gained through his broad experience.
Jonathan began working with small organizations in response to the critical need he saw in small non-profit organizations and businesses: regardless of development stage, they still needed guidance, accounting services, and financial expertise to thrive. Over the years he has helped over 100 ministries and small businesses in areas including financial systems development, forecasting, cash flow management, and payroll.
In addition to financial management work, Jonathan is the financial columnist for Smart Hustle magazine, is an active Toastmaster, and serves on the vestry and finance committee of the parish of Calvary-St. George's Church in Manhattan. He graduated from Binghamton University with an MBA in finance and arts administration.
